Aurelio Lopez has been a farmer all his life. He grew up growing coffee, corn and other crops in the mountains of Oaxaca Mexico. Aurelio spent a decade working for an organic vegetable CSA in Watsonville before starting Fiesta Farm together with his wife in 2010.

Sarah Lopez (formerly Greene) grew up on the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, Maryland. She studied natural resource management in college and marine science in graduate school. She has managed a water quality program for Central Coast farms since 2007, began raising chickens in 2009, and has been managing Fiesta Farm with Aurelio since its inception.

Like his papa, Mateo Lopez has been a farmer all his life. Mateo personally reviews each new batch of baby chicks that comes onto the farm, performs quality control on eggs by cracking them open, and tests potential breeding sows for proper temperament by sticking his fingers in their noses. Mateo also makes sure that his parents never go to bed on time and that the house is always messy. He aspires to drive the ATV by himself and climb the ladder on the side of the barn all the way onto the roof.
